We had a job doing school photos for a school in northern Saskatchewan and had to pass through Flin Flon to get there. I’d always wondered what the northern mining town looked like & finally got to see it. It was a very long trip to say the least but nice to see different country sides. The school was still a 2 and a half hours drive north , a narrow winding gravel road with steep hills & sharp curves, not the best when its raining..jpg)
Not sure just what this is, something to do with mining.jpg)
Gotta love this little guy……………………...jpg)
You can see this tower from a long distance away, smoking
this is the road going up to the school, it looks like a fire went through a some point
I took these on the fly, they do alot of logging in this area
you can see weights hanging on the hydro lines to keep the post down, because of the perma frost.
It was nice to see once but even better to see home…
