What can I say about Johnny…. Jazz, jazz, jazzzzzzzz, he lives for jazz, he’s in 8 bands, plays all kinds of instrument, but loves his saxophone. His favourite books are James Patterson , and he’s into shopping at Value Village, that’s where he finds his unique outfits. He plans on moving to Brandon in the fall and attending the University of Brandon
Here’s a little info from the man himself:
“I live and breath Jazz some artists I like to listen to are Kenny G, Charlie Parker, The HardBop Saxophone Quartet, The Horn Heads and Glenn Miller.
I have lived in Dauphin for 11 years
I am going to be playing at some local coffee shops this summer.
I attend The International Music Camp every summer at The International Peace Gardens.
I am going to attend Brandon University in the fall for the School of Music Program.
I play in Eight different Bands which include the Dauphin Community Concert Band, The Dauphin Community Jazz Band, The Dixie Land Band of Gilbert Plains/Dauphin, The Manitoba Millenium Band, The Parkland/Norman Honour Band, The D.R.C.S.S Concert Band, The D.R.C.S.S Jazz Band and recenlty I played in the Manitoba Provincial Senior Honour Band which is playing with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra on May 5, 2010.
Once I graduate from Brandon University I plan to come back to Dauphin and teach at the High School.
I like to read Archie Comics and Calvin and Hobbes Comics.
I also play the flute as well that instrument is the one I will be majoring in at Brandon University.
I also teach Saxophone and Flute to any one who wants to learn.”
