Couples Contest Winner-Leah & Chris

Leah Ferris & Chris Radley are the 1st of our Christmas contest winners…. We had a rockin crazy session with them, lots of fun. We went out to F.D.L. Auto wrecking and Gerald was so generous to let us have the run of his yard. Check out his yard link .
We lucked out on finding some terrific old cars ( loved the old caddy), piles of tires, etc. They were such good sports about everything….when we asked then to get into these dirty old cars… they just hopped in , mice , dirt and all…..then brushed off the dust when we finished. Leah got her heels totally filled with mud & grass but hell she looked great any way’s.

Hellooooo. My name is Leah Ferris and thought I’d take me chances and submit an entry into your Christmas contest for couples. I am a 27 year old long term care nurse who currently resides in Brandon (though formally from Dauphin, born and raised!!) and I live here with my fiance Chris Radley (age 25 of Winnipeg). I cannot begin to tell you just how great it would be to win an opportunity to “FINALLY!!!” have some unique, creative (and if it’s possible given the subjects.. classy!!!!haha ) Here’s some dirt on our relationship:

My fiance and I do not have what you’d call a typical relationship in that we spend the majority of the time apart. His carpentry job requires relocation from province to province which means that we are stuck swinging the whole “long distance relationship” thing. It’s really hard when you only get to see your significant other for maybe total of one week per month so we generally rely on our daily communications in anticipation of his next big visit. Not going to lie to you..it nice having the place to myself but I do miss having the wolf man around, particularly if there is a special event to attend as a couple (or I have some heavy Sh*t to lift!!! just kidding) Photo opportunities for us are rare given the separation and unless we are at an event (ie: family function) it is hard to get something organized where we can get dressed up all purdy like and have someone take a few shots. The majority of our photo’s consist of those taken by family and friends while we are out and about in casual wear which doesn’t exactly fit the bill as engagement photo’s in my opinion. Chris surprised me big time with his marriage proposal on August 22nd of this year so I really feel like we should have some elegant photo’s done in which backwards hats and beer bottles don’t cloud the sparkle of my beautiful ring. Though we have not officially set a date just yet I have been planting the seed in Chris’ head that we should have some professional photo’s done so we could at least have one stellar shot for the announcements and for family and friends. I would love to send some great shots to my family in Ireland/England too!!!! I guess it’s pretty plain to see now why I jumped at the chance to submit an entry to your contest. It’s exactly what we are looking for and the timing couldn’t be better. Here’s to hoping that you will grant us this unforgettable opportunity. Crossing my fingers that we win…..I’ve got the hedge clippers sharpened up just in case!!!!
