The Canadian Diabetes head office in Toronto hired me to do a session with a local Dauphin volunteer named Janis Brackman . She is being honored by the association in their spring issue of their magazine for all her tireless time spent volunteering over the years. Janis herself as had to learn to live with the disease, and making healthily eating habits is one of the things she advises others on.
They wanted the session to take place in the produce department of a grocery store, and Janis choose Safeway. Thank you to all the staff at the Dauphin Safeway that accommodated us.
