I were hired to do a Grand opening of a Toys R Us store in Winnipeg, they added a Babies R Us to the store and wanted me to come in before the opening to photograph all the departments . I got there at 8:00 am and there was already a line up… store didn’t open till 9:30 am. By the time I did the ribbon cutting at 9:20, there was a line up of people a block long… man I’ve never seem so many kids or pregnant women in one place before.. tee hee! I had a great time photographing the kids interacting with the entertainment .. clowns, face painters, magicians, lions, Spiderman, and Geoffrey the giraffe. There must have been some hot specials because I saw customers walking out with carts heaping full. I’d never been in the toy store before & I’m amazed at what they all carry…..I seen some great props for my studio there, I’ll have to go back just to shop for myself!
