Carol’s news- crazy summer

This summer has been crazy for me, I can’t believe it’s the middle of Aug already. The weather has been so hot and we are trying to get a little remodeling done on the side. We are so heavily booked for wedding & portraits , there’s no time to think.. Don’t get me wrong ….I’m NOT complaining by any means. I love my job, and the people I’m fortune enough to work with .
My daughter and niece came up to Dauphin for a visit recently, we had a blast….. we love to go garage sailing together…just have to bicker the price down, then we feel like we’re getting a bargain …tee hee. Some times we get ripped off but usually we cut a good deal.
We did a lot of work on our yard this year. ( I did the designing , he did the work …lol ) We use it for some session, it looks pretty good…. hubby built a little bridge going through the flower bed to the fish pond and it works terrific for kids and brides. Hell.. even if we get a crazy bridesmaid falling into it with her feet in the air, it makes a great picture (funny too! Ha ha).
My aunty passed away not long ago and I got to meet a lot of my family that I hadn’t seen in a very long time….it’s a shame but we only seem to get together at weddings and funerals. I guess we all have our own immediate families & jobs and it consumes all of our time.
